According to Micheal Liedtke's article "Google Ends Buzz to Support New Plus" in the Seattle Times (October 15, 2011), Google said they would shut the Buzz down next few weeks on Friday. In addition, the service would not be missed sine 20 month ago. Buzz, which is a social network is created by Google. Google want to use that to compete with Face Book online. Also, Google pays all attention to this network on Plus. There are more than 40million people use this Plus. In addition, Larry Page, who is the CEO of Google, is very confident about the plus will have more than 800million users, it will be a good tool to compete with Face Book. According to the meeting on Thursday, Page promises that Google will put more goods to Plus for users to have a miraculous and automatic experience. The idea of connecting Gmail and Buzz makes Buzz in trouble because when they are connecting, Buzz shows his users Gmail address to anyone automatically, and also some users' private information. Then, Google gives users more power to control their information, but it is too late. Federal Trade Government states Goole offends the policy of privacy. Then, Google says sorry about that, and they sign in a agreement that Google's privacy program will be checked every two years for next twenty years. Also, Google spends $8.5million to clam down the accusation from Gmail users.Google is going to keep this main Internet search and advertising, also they are going to contest with Apple for the wireless phone market. The income and stock price show that the idea is pretty successful in third quarter. Internet search program holds the most income for Google. Google had 82% of search service, and Microsoft, which supplies search service to Yahoo, only had 18%. Also, Android, which is belong to Google, has the biggest wireless phone operating platform.

In my opinion, Google has done an excellent job to end the grumble from Gmail Users. Then, the Google's CEO used other strategy to get Google out from the dangerous situation. Also, I think program, they are in the situation, they might not have considered all the negative probabilities. In China, there is a quota "Looker-on see more than player". It means when people are doing something, they can not see the point, but the lookers can see that easily. However, this event may be a alarm bell for the designers. Google are doing very good on search program. I have everyone needs to use Google.com for at least 10times. Finally, I think this article introduces to me how big Google is.
